A previous owner replaced the water pump on my 91 900s with an after market pump. When the engine got hot, the blade of the pump would slip on the shaft and not pump properly. I replaced the water pump with a SAAB pump and most of the overheating problems went away.. I don't think the SAAB enginer's realize that it can get to 100 degrees in the US...
I'm now looking for an oxillary radiator that I can place in series with the cooling system. Has anyone heard of such a thing??
