Is there a DIY way to reset SRS light?

The screws that hold my airbag module into the steering wheel cam loose and it fell out onto my lap. When that happened the wire became unplugged. I plugged it back in, but now the SRS light blinks on start up and then turns solid and stay lit. Manual says to go to dealership, but is there a way for me to reset this.
Thanks
