Help with Saab

I have a 1989 Saab 900. I have had it for about two and half months.
Use the car for a daily commuter for work in Northern Virginia. I have been the only one to drive, and for that matter ride in the car. I commute by myself and only use the car during the week to go to and from the job. Recently, I went to go to lunch with a co-worker. When I pulled out of the parking lot I felt a vibration all throughout the car. This vibration continued as I accelerated. It felt as if something was rubbing somewhere.
This was when the car had two individuals weighing about 170lbs & 190lbs each. When I drove the car after, with just myself, it rode fine. I had my girlfriend get in the car and we proceeded out onto the street. Again, as I accelerated, the vibration was there. Why does my car act like that with a second occupant? It rides find with one person (driver).
Could this have something to do with shocks, springs, transmission?
