Here is what I would be concerned about on the unit you specified:
Low RMS power value. This is a decent measure of the "true power" of the system. Even though almost all of the units are 45 watts per channel, the better models will have higher values. (RMS stands for root mean square ... its a measure of the average power output).
high FM radio sensitivy. This is a measure of how small a change in FM frequency the radio can tell the difference between. Smaller is better. Its like being able to read something smaller at the same distance.
VERY LOW signal to noise ratio. You want this to be high. More signal, less noise.
I would get a radio with some security measure. I don't use mine all the time, but when I'm in the city or some other shady area, i take the face off the radio. Radios still get stolen.
Alpine and Blaupunkt radios get good reviews from people on saabnet.
