I had that same window problem with my 86'. Try slamming the door. My window motor had a dead spot in it. If you put the window down part way it would work fine, if you went all the way down it would stick until you gave the motor a wack to jog it. Also try fiddling with the wires that run from the door to the car body. They tend to wear in that spot. Also try taking off the door panel and lubing the motor gear really good. The grease dries out and makes the motor stick. As far as the belt motor, does your dome light work alright? If not, it could be the contacts at the door switch which also trigger the belt motor. I had that problem with the 89' 900s I just picked up. Also check the fuses for the belt motors under the rear seat. Mine were blown as well. I hope some of this will help. Good luck, Tom
