I seem to have solved this problem on mine by rebuilding the master cylinder. When I got it out and took it apart, there was a whole ton of gook in it from the seals breaking down. It's really easy to do, and the rebuild kit is only a few bucks (literally). Just make sure to be really careful when disassembling the old one-- pay attention to the way it's put together. The rebuild kits come with extra parts to make them work for more than one kind of car. I was kinda freaking out for a bit because I didn't have a diagram and when I was taking it apart the spring shot half of the internal components all over the place while I was taking it apart. Somehow I got it back together again correctly. Make sure you spray it out with some brake cleaner or something similar and coat the inside with brake fluid before reassembly to make things go together smoothly, and lubricate the spot where the actuator rod meets the piston with some grease. If you can get a diagram of what's supposed to be in it and in what position, this part is so easy it's not funny, only sounds complicated. The tough part is getting it bled properly after you're done. See other posts for that.
