I'm currently looking at 900S ECUs from '89 and '90 to see if the board components and pinouts are the same as the '89 turbo. If they are, it may be as simple as dropping the EPROM from the Turbo ECU into the 900S ECU.
Of course, using an '89 900S ECU as a base might be jumping from the frying pan into the fire :-)
I suspect that an ECU from '90 and later will be a drop-in exchange, but I'm not sure yet.
My understanding from Ubipa's website is that all LH 2.4 ECUs use the same processor, so they should all be able to read the programs in EPROMs from LH 2.4 ECUs. The big question is whether pins and components are different for the different models and years and whether the processor will skip steps or lock up if the steps refer to components that aren't there. It's a continuing learning process.
