The AMM can give the ECU signals pretty far out of range and send the ECU into "spasms". I experiennced this on my '89 900T 2 weekends ago. I swapped it out with a good one and cured the problem.
Have you tried to start it without the AMM plugged in?
Do you know someone with a known good AMM that you can swap in for a few minutes?
Given those codes, if it won't start with an unplugged AMM, the ECU might be marginal too.
