Hi all,
Let me tell you whats happend so far! Trying to get it out was a real pain! Loosend all retaining bolts no problem. while trying to loosen the bracket bolts to pivot the damn thing out, I found that the torx head bolts
were all rounded from a previous owner! Now what!!!! What I did was to wiggle,pound,pull,untill the dam thing came out!!! Then I removed the oil
filter housing on the other side of the bracket to slide the lower mounting
bolt in from the other side! So far,so good,.... put the new 115 amp alt in,(old one in there was 80 amp). Now I can't get the damn pullies off the old alternator.!#@$#%$^&* Well got to go back to work wrenching my saab, I'll post an update once all is up and running..... Thanx for letting me vent........
