The same thing is happening now as last year and I though I'd share the fix for all of you. I have a maple tree in my yard, and the helicopters are falling on my parked 90SPG. Some make their way into the fresh air inlet on the hood and then down into the duct. As they pile up and it rains, a nasty clog forms (just like in my house's gutters) and the water doesn't drain out the proper way. Instead, it ends up in the passenger cabin on the floor mat. Luckily, I have an all-weather rubber floor mat, so it's no big deal.
Just pick or vacuum out the leaves and debris in your fresh air inlet and you'll be good to go.
I should really put screen over that hole so nothing gets in...
