I just replaced the springs and stuff for my 90 900T. The kit comes with some hard to read directions, but all the parts you would ever need. The hard part... Getting the new springs on. They take some real power! After fighting with them for a while with a rope and rebar (used for some leverage) I decided to take a new route. I found the easiest way! It took about 5 min. start to finish!
I found an old pully from our dog run, put a loop of rope around one end ( not the end with thepully) Then I tied some rope onto the frame of the seat and ran it through the pully! It was almost too easy to do it this way! I went to my local shop to see what a brake spring tool looks like, they showed me a couple different models, none of which would have worked. This would probably cost you 3 bucks at the hardware store!
In any case, my butt thanks me!
Liam :-)
