Thanks, Anders. I just purchased 1.5 of red hose. I also purchase 1.5 of a smaller hose that will fit into the larger red hose. This hose is to fit on the tubing that comes out of the older transmission. I was afraid of just putting the larger hose and not the smaller one inside the larger one because of fear the the dipstick would get caught up on that portion on the transmission. The other problem I was concern about is that the pressure that builds up in that area. As you know the dip stick has a rubber gasket that holds pressure which can be used to check the 02 sensor. I think that will do the trick. Again, many thanks for your message. george.
