Mine was that way, anyway. I got a replacement from saabsite.com. Make sure that the leak is not from the fuel sender or fuel pump, though. You have to remove the rear floor (2 screws) and there is a 6+" diamter silver ring on the left side (fuel pump port) and a black rubber one on the right side (fuel sender port). If these are dry and free of gas, the rubber filler couplers are good, may be the filler neck. Another source of smell could be the evaporative hose which runs under the headliner and the tip over valve above the filler neck INSIDE the RR fender. The cracks will allow fuel to leak in only if it gets around teh neck. It is a welded part and the mount flange is plastic welded to the neck. Mine was cracked here and would leak a small bit of gas into the trunk. Could be repaired with jb weld if this is the only problem. Removal of a 10+ year old filler neck is iffy as it is easy to break off the drain nippple. You can ask how I know...
