You may have had an air pocket in the cooling system and this would explain where the fluid is going. Maybe you used the heater recently? Whenever you flush and replace coolant, you must do so with the heater turned on so that coolant is distributed to the entire system. Since you have no leaks, I would suspect this. Turn the heater on (just the dial so that its opened up - the car is not running here) and open up the bleeder nipple on the thermostat housing until a steady stream begins to flow out, then close it. Top up the resivior and hopefully, that's all you need to do.
Now that I've said that, there could be a more serious problem here. Before you start the car next time, pull the oil dipstick. If the oil level is unusually high, that is, higher that the full mark where you know it should be, you will have found where the coolant has been going. You have a gasket leak, could be an intake gasket or head gasket, but, coolant has entered the cylinders and is mixing with the oil. This happened to my Monte Carlo several years ago, but, hopefully this is not true in your case.
You want an independent Saab mechanic? Few and far between, but, if you're willing to travel to Sea Cliff, Vincent Sege runs a 2-man shop (the other tech is Bob) on Roslyn Ave. which is about 12 miles from EAB Plaza - Glen Cove Foreign Cars, 516-676-1544.
