Hey:
I am not totally sure about the part numbers but I am sure about this. The AIC valve 505 is also found on a 1992 Haundai Scoup. And yes there even some look a likes found on the 1996 Haundai Accent. I know that if your system has a three wire connector, you need a valve with a three wire connector.
Most important of all is, If you use another valve, make sure that the valve has the correct resistance values stated for the system. If it calls for 15 Ohms of resistance across two certain connectors on the valve, it better be 15 Ohms (or at least within the specified parameters given by Saab on its component). Otherwise you would let the SMOKE GENIE out of your ECM, and you know how much they cost.
You could also go to a reputable salvage yard and have them use the Teltype system. It would tell you (well... Them) of any other cars that had the 505 AIC valve in it, and maybe some other valve that can be used.
Hope I was some help. Don't pay 200 bucks if you don't have to.
