Yes. Twice. Replaced the ECU twice First time was used, second time was SAAB refurbished. Both thngs helped and both stopped the flashing shift up light.

THEN I still had problems. Finally had the mechanic check all connections related to the ECU. By moving the AMM connector and some other connector (I forget which) he was able to create havoc. he cleaned both and I have had a Swedish watch ever since.

In conclusion: check all connections that talk to the ECU especially the AMM and the oxygen sensor. MAYBE replace the ECU and if so go with a SAAB refurbished.

I hope you suffer less pain in your ass than I have had in mine.
