since there is no manual like Haynes or Bentley to give instructions. The web site discussed here is really the only source, but they stick to the basics (Change Your Own Oil - with color pictures to show you how to do it!). Jeff Cunningham's site has more info on it that is useful, but he does not own a Mercedes.
I have pretty much given up doing anything but the simplest repairs on my wife's car (a 300TE 4Matic) for this reason.
Having said that, the web site is pretty good, but where we fill a page on the Classic 900 bb every 2-3 days they would take a couple of weeks for the same number of posts to accumulate. So if you have a question it can take a while to get an answer - by then you have already given up and taken it to a mechanic.
