The exhaust will physically fit, but the problem you'll run into is that there are no hangers on the body to accomodate it. The only way you'll be able to do this is to weld hangers onto the pipe or the body - I'd choose the pipe. :) You may also have a problem mating the two - you may have to weld instead of using the exhaust flanges - but I'm not sure of this. I'm running an '88 16vT exhaust on my '80 900T, and doing so required an hourlong stay at a local exhaust shop. :)
