I bought an inexpensive ($20 I think) engine leveler for yanking C900 engines. Easy to find, Harbor Freight or anyone has them, or perhaps you can rent one. I think mine was a parking lot tool sale deal. Really helps line things up when you are trying to reinstall too. FWIW, I usually attach to the alternator area brackets, loop a chain around the front of the trans, hook into whatever is left of the AC bracket or bolt into head, and also on the lift lug near the stat. Better safe than sorry!
Oh... pull BOTH axles out via removing lower ball joint bolts and pivoting on upper to pull axles out of inner drivers. Makes it much easier. You may have to undo the drivers side engine mount bolts (13mm accessible under car) rather than the long engine mount bolt itself, as the oil intake tube gets in the way of the bolt. Been there....
