I gave them suggestions on the development, but they didn't take any. Similar to the exh and coolant warning lights, I told them not to bother w/ the ECon line and the APC part of the "turbo/apc". I'm not sure why they didn't take any of my advice. In the beginning we had talked about custom green reverse indiglo's so they could work properly w/ the green OEM over lighting and they had said I would need a "buy in" of 50 at 69.99 which would have been definitely unreachable. So I don't think they're that willing to customize the OEM layout w/o a big order.
Overall, I don't think the gauges look to bad from what I can see. The avail pic is a little low res and fuzzy plus there's no day light pic avail. Once installed I think the needle holes will be less noticeable and the gauges will look just like the old but in white. I think I'll be happy for the cost. Plus the faces are non glare.
For all you working on switching to reverse indiglo's. Just to let you know what's involved and why that route wasn't taken. The gauges will need to be overlit so you will be able to see the gauge needle at night. So either you can use the oem green light which would be kinda tacky or I guess install the bright blue or red LEDs that I've read some others have done. To me that's too much work to ask of an individual, plus you'll end up w/ a blue or red gauge cluster w/ a green schemed dashboard and ign console. Too tacky for me. The regular indiglo's do not need to be overlit at night b/c you can see the silhouette of the needle, the color can be adjusted to match the car's original greenish lighting, the cost is $20 cheaper, and the small buy # made it possible.
