Finally decided to replace the drop link bushings. Life sucks if you don't have a press. I tried every socket and vise trick I know. No dice. I will take the links to the indie (he'll laugh!). Same goes for the rear sway bar. Those suckers are in there.
Question: How do you replace the passenger drop link bolt/nut on the chassis hidden behind the fuel tank? It was fun getting it off, and I don't see how to get it back on there without dropping my half full tank!
Question2: Why are my lug nuts 1/2"? I just bought some Gorilla 'black acorn' lug nuts to go with my Ronal Silver Vanes. The tire store checked with a gauge first, it said 1/2". Computer said metric M12-1.25. I put them on tonight and I could snug them up with my fingers, and no they were not loose! M12 my ass!
Questions3: The hardware on my drop link is English/SAE. The hardware on my swing arm is metric. WHY?
