All fluid leaked out? You must have seen a puddle beneath the car!
Keep an eye on it & watch for the leak.
But I had a rack which leaked at the piston seals. Basically, it filled up the rubber boots at the ends of the rack, until it finally leaked out the vent hole at the top. At the time I couldn't figure out where the fluid was going.
