Sounds like Bill N is describing the earlier ones with a pre-pump...
Remove floor & both round covers. The big one onthe left is fuel pump, smaller one on right is fuel gauge sender. Which one is leaking? Watch while the engine's running.
For the fuel pump, one screw holds down a retainer clip. Then you can unplug the power. Then pull steady & slow on the fuel lines. Each tee is sealed with o-rings. Maybe all you need to do is replace these o-rings.
Hold the center part of the pump assembly from turning. That's the part with the electrical connection & the 2 holes for fuel lines. Turn only the ribbed plastic ring. I find that slow & even force works the best.
After the ring is off, you can push the pump down into the tank, its got a spring pushing it up. Push it down just enough to remove the fat rubber seal which presses up against the opening. With the rubber seal out of the way, you can lift the whole pump assembly out.
Maybe the fat rubber seal is what leaked, then replace it. When you put it back in, there's marks that line up with the tank, & the top of the pump assembly. If you let it turn while you're tightening the ring, the gasket will squirm around & leak.
