1. Increase the cable size going from alternator to pass. distribution block.
2. If this doesn't help the problem, then look to the ground connection, and/or increasing the gauge of the cable going from battery to alternator.
If you change one, the other may still be giving you problems!
I've found that electrical circuits need to be seriously thought out and even calculated when possible!
Both positive and negative paths work together. So, even if you have a huge positive line, but the negative is really small, the resistance is still there and will affect the circuit as a whole!
Unfortunately it's not that easy to figure out which one is the problem!
Getting the resistance of the wire is easy to do when the wire is out of the car. You can get your ohm meter across both ends without to much hassel. Otherwise you need some long leads on the ohm meter to look at the ground and positive ends. It gets complicated as the long leads on the ohm meter also have resistance, and needs to be subtracted from the total resistance of the path.
