Actually, it isn't that difficult; my father and I replaced the windscreen in an afternoon (it's about a six-pack job). The el'chepo Haynes manual describes the procedure step by step (I didn't even need the suction cup things.) Basically you use a thin rope to guide the seal over the flange on the body. you can most likly re-use the original seal if it isn't cracked or dry rotted. Beware of old sealant and leak "repairs" that may have been done in the past as it may booger up the process. Once the windscreen and seal is removed remove ALL TRACES OF SEALANT from the body. Use an appropriate solvent (like acrysol) and allow to completly dry. Then use a urathane sealant made for auto glass (you can purchase this in a calk tube form at most larger auto parts stores) Use masking tape to hold the seal to the body while the sealant is curing and let the car sit in a dry place for 24 hours before removing the masking tape. You will need another person to help, and dont forget the beer.
