Although a lot of what you're experiencing is just the suspension geometry...not a lot of anti dive or anti squat designed into these cars. As long as the rear end doesn't come off the ground front end dive can work to your advantage...weight transfer.
One time on a dark road in PA on the way to Seven Springs one weekend I was doing about 80 and the radar detector went off...road was clear and dry and I dynamited the brakes. The county mounty pulled out after me and we, umm discussed the way he said my front bumper almost hit the ground (BF CIBIE driving lights gave it away, right) right quickly when he zapped me. The guy was hønest...his gun indicated 78+ but wouldn't lock..the display kept changing down to 50, so he didn't write me up, just a verbal warning to hold it down, the deer, you know. Moral of that story is if you're all alone hit the brakes hard and try to exceed the lock-on capability of the gun...you're already toast, it's a question øf whether you're brown or burnt! If you're in traffic, just ease up and hope the gun (or the cop) is paying attention to someone else.
