Only when the drivers are really bad do you get a vibration during acceleration.
A slightly worn driver will only vibrate during acceleration if you step on the gaspedal HARD.
Another symptom of a bad driver is when you drive over a gentle bump or dip in the road during acceleration. You can feel the vibrations when the front suspension is moving up and down and the driveshaft is moving back and forth over the worn surface in the driver.
That's how close I can describe it.
Saab came out with a bulletin about this, and it took me awhile before accepting the facts that it vibrates during idle with drive engaged and disappears when selecting park or neutral.
