Progressive Nitrous Fogging system. I've never done it but it sounds reasonable.
Otherwise, you will be replacing alot of parts and doing alot of other modifications that require other modifications. You probably can only go to a so wild of a cam b/c the fuel inj is volumetric w/ a heat filament AMM and the large overlap of the cams would probably cause issues. Inaddition you have no ability to control the timing curve w/ stock system. Also, I've read the manifold is a big bottleneck for the NA apps. In my eye's, the probaby cheapest hp for the buck with ease of installationn and not requiring any other parts would probably be a (NOTE: progressive) Nitrous (NOTE: fogging) system. It won't effect regular drivability and you can activate it when desired or have it on all the time w/ stock invested in the supplier;) Turbo's are nice but there's alot parts that go with them and will eventually need replaced.
And if you have more cash to spend, find away of getting rid of the stock redline (expanded Mapped fuel chip) and install a turbo intake cam (or a mild grind catcam cam set) and some solid lifters from CatCams.
Other option, save up and buy porsche...
