Obviously keep track of your ccolant level daily until your resolve this, overheating can take $$$ to repair warped heads or blown headgaskets.
Check the temp sensor on the left side of the radiator (two wires coming out of it)and make sure there isn't a slow leak there, you may see a greenish trail down the side of the radiator if the gasket is shot. Buy a new unit or at least the gasket if it seems loose. Also check the a/c temp cutout switch spliced into the upper hose for the same type leak. Also check that 90 degree elbow hose at the front of the head, it could be pissing a small leak onto the radiator. You may also have a slow leak in your radiator, or a loose upper or lower radiator hose that leaks on the cooldown cycle and leaves coolant that boils off as steam when it heats up on restart.
