If your going to replace, buy the whole 9 yards. Axle, tripod and CV joints come as a whole unit-120 bucks. Pull inner driver and replace-it has to be that. But while your at it, do it all and forget about it for another 100,000 miles. Sobstory has great prices. If you buy them seperatley, it will cost you twice as much. Plus, you don't have to remove and re-install anything except inner driver. Twinsaabs site has a great site on how to do this. They even show how to remove cv joints from axle and whatnot.
