I did it on my '90 SPG and it takes no time at all. There are many ways of doing it, but this is how I did it. I separated the grill in two, I just popped out the pins that hold that black thing on the inside of the grill with the fins. I then went to the local hardware store and picked up some gutter gaurd metal mesh material. It was something like 3 bucks for 10 feet. You can paint this stuff in any color, I left it alone. Then just cut it out with some tin snips. I also cut out the black fins on that black thing on the inside of the grill. Then just put the black thing back onto the grill with the gutter gaurd stuff wedged in between it all. I might be able to send you a pic via emial, let me know if you want one and I will try.
