It's hard but not impossible for a DIYer to change out the inner drivers. These are the "cups" that the tripod joints on the drive axles go into. They wear, especially on the right side, and give you vibration on acceleration.
The inner drivers are separate pieces from the drive axles that you replaced.
You will need to get new inner drivers, seals, and O-rings. They can be gotten from http://www.sobstory.com, http://www.eeuroparts.com, and some ot the other site sponsors on the bottom of the page. There's no core deposit on the inner drivers.
You didn't mention whether your car has a 5-speed or an automatic transmission. If it's a 5-speed you may (if you're lucky) be able to swap the inner drivers from side-to-side because of the wear patterns. If it's an auto, you probably won't be able to. To be safe, because it's an involved process, it's best to buy the new parts.
The most important thing that you must remember is that you must keep the shims and bearing holders on the same side that you got them from. (You'll understand this as you read more on the subject - the shims keep the ring gear and pinion gear in the proper orientation so they don't chew each other up.)
Here is a link to the twinsaabs pages on the drivetrain DIY, which has info on the drivers in one of the steps.
