If that didn't help (or if that was it and system blows fuse again) I'd take a look inside the doors. You said your 900 is a 2-door. Is it a 2-door HATCHBACK (called 3-door by some)? Or one of the less common 2-door "notchback," a.k.a. regular trunk 900s?
It is quite possible that either:
A) The central locking fuse has blown due to
>>>(1) chafed wiring in door jamb (hinge area) or
>>>(2) faulty lock motor in passenger door or hatchback door;
B) Driver's door lock switch wiring has come unplugged for some reason
C) The central locking "computer" has gone bad.
If the car is a "3-door," then you can see if the wiring in the driver's door jamb is chafed to the point it's shorting out (raw wire visible) and/or broken. The little accordion-like rubber tube going from car body to driver's and passenger's doors is where the wiring runs to door. It also contains power window wires (if equipped) and power mirror wires (if equipped) besides the wires which go to the driver's door switch for central locking. This is where the wires had chafed and shorted out driver's side power window, causing it to get stuck rolled down on my previous '84 900S.
Remember, OG 900s have NO door lock motor on the driver's door, only a switch there to signal the central locking "computer" to send current to the passenger door and hatchback lock motors. That's why using the key on other door locks only opens the particular door the key is inserted in, not all of them, because the passenger/trunk doors have no switches, only lock motors.
I hope this helps!
