damp and the high tension side of the ignition system yep.. but this usually shows up as poor starting and noticable misfires.. with a sluggish "fly by wire" car it could be other electrical engine control malfunctions also.. damp and computers dont mix well.. so perhaps old fashioned thinking and modern cars dont mix well either.. he he
still its better to start replacing the cheaper bits first.. that bit of old fashioned thinking probably still applies..
for a start try the main lead going fom coil to distributor cap.. bung a new one in..
