thow there is a little 5 mph dot after the 140 mph which would be 145 mph.. the highest kph figure is a little further back on the dial cos there aint rooom for the figures so at the top end it would be say 240 kph..
love the "see no evil" explanation for the silly 85 max US speedo thow.. i recon my UK 8 valve auto/box none turbo car would max out at about 110 to 115 mph in reality.. its an instant driving ban if they catch u exceeding 100 mph in the UK.. our max limit is 70 mph even on our best roads..
but compared to the UK cars even the later US 125 mph speedos have a little of the "see no evil" approach to em it seems.. he he he
my little rover 214 which would max out at say 115 mph has a 145 mph speedo in it as well.. it seems we get to see "lots of evil"... u have to laff... he he he
