I put a NAPA rotor on my 86 900S (no glue) and it came off and the car stalled. I bought a Bosch rotor and just stuck it on there (no glue) and it has stayed for 70k mi. It is possible that I screwed up the NAPA rotor installation. It was the first time I ever installed a rotor.
I read on the NG 900 BB that those rotors are all glued on at the factory. Some people were dremeling them off, others were cranking off with channel lock pliars.
I have no clonclusion here. I am planning on doing cap and rotor on my 93 900T this summer. Glue or No Glue?
