I had this combo in my '86 900S - it's a decent deal. A few things to note about the Jackson are that for some odd reason it only has 5 station preset buttons, which annoys is *%^! out of me. Also, the tape transport and controls are purely mechanical, which isn't ideal if you actually listen to tapes. Bottom line, the Jackson is a cheap stereo. I resold mine a couple months later on Ebay for $25... The 10-disc changer is the same 10-disc they use across the line, and is pretty good but has problems with CDR/RW discs. Oh, and one thing about the Jackson here - you must cycle through all 10 discs, you can't just jump to the one you want. Annoying.
Bottom line: For $170 it's a good deal, but not the best. For not too much more you can get a "real" head unit and changer, or just get an MP3-capable head unit and save the trouble! A Blaupunkt MP3000 or Aiwa MP32 should run around $200 and IMHO are more practical than a changer and easier to install, Only downside is that audio quality isn't *quite* the same, but I doubt you'd ever pick up the differences in a car.
