Saabist Synchronicty!! While I was in there, I even found an alarm system I didnt know I had under the right front speaker. I might try it. Its not connected, but I talked to Tom Townsend last night on "tech talk", and he hooked me up to his great page on the saab security system. it told me everything I needed to know!
back to stereo...
I was wondering how the face of your system looks in terms of 'reveal'...I was looking at replacing my aftermarket sony cd with an aiwa cd that i pulled out of my toyota(RIP). Looking at the face(or behind it when removed),I can see no place that screws or bolts it in...Do you have to take off your dASH or center console to get at the frame, or is the plastic border/frame a snap-on? I dont want to try unsnapping mine in case its not a snapper.
Also, where is the old amp located in the car, and can it be used with the line outs from your current new alpine system?
