i would not clamp the fuel lines, since you do not want to exert any torque on them anyway. the trick is to get a good grip on the "nut" built into the filter end and hold it still, while you loosen the banjo bolt with another wrench. I have found that a good shot of PBBlaster allower to soak for a few hours helps. Also, have both wrenches as close together as possible, so you can squeeze them together with both hands and minimize movement. If the wrenches are say 90 degrees apart, you will have trouble holding the filter and fuel lines still when you pull/push on the wrenches. Good tips from the other posters on rag, gloves, pressure relief, and patience. Despite precautions there is still a good chance that you will have a shot of gas running down (up) your arm into your armpit as you're lying under the car :-))).
