The Brake Fluid and ABS lights will BOTH come on when the ABS pressure is low. When the ABS pressure is low, you have no brake boost.

I do not think you have a bad accumulator. With a bad accumulator, the (2) lights come on after you hit the brakes a few times. A bad accumulator would not cause the lights to come on without hitting the brakes. And the lights would go right back off.

I think the problem probably is the Master Cylinder, specifically, the boost servo. The boost servo uses ABS pressure to provide, well, boost. If the servo got stuck open, you would lose the ABS pressure, and the lights will come on.

I suspect the problem fixed itself - the Master Cylinder stopped leaking fluid (internally), and the lights went out when the ABS pump finally made pressure.

I would flush the brake fluid. This should be done every 2-3 years. If the problem goes away, great. If it comes back, you may need a new master cylinder.
