sounds like wheel bearing AND cv maybe. in any case it is time for a full tear down. jack it up and spin by hand, you'll hear the worst one but plan on doing them both. swap drivers cups side to side to swap primary wear surface. maybe even check your pinion runout and reshim to take out rotational play. cups may be bad as well. etc....it is kind of the weakest link syndrome. they all wear together ususallty and if boots are torn they can be toast. if you are an experienced mech the bulk of the cost is cv's and bearings and the hassle is getting in to do the job. once you have it up with both sides off the rest is easily (ha) accomplished. if you are real tough you can even do the presing yourself but it they are mondo tite. consult townsend web site for procedure and info on shimming the race. the side to side clunk means thems things are getting real bad. check ball joints and rack bellows too etc. get all your cheap high labor prefix jobs out of the way while it is apart. the expertise to do all those jobs is readily available here or at sites like from here or users etc. some of the techniques are simple but not obvious.
good luck....it is a big job and you will have a sore back in no time
