The LH system adjust the amount of fuel depending on, among other things, engine temperature. The mixture is richer when the engine is cold, because fuel has a tendancy to condense on the intake when the engine is cold. But a richer mixture makes it easier to start the engine. Since every engine is different, yours probably is happier with that rich mixture than the normal mixture of a warm engine.
The other thing that affects starting is fuel pressure. Obviously your system gets fuel pressure up quickly, and maintains it a while after it turns off. That's fine.
