You can swap suspension components around freely in a 900. The parts that made up the "sport" suspension used to be available in a "RoadHolding Kit" from Saab, but that is no longer the case. Assembling the individual parts is quite costly, and probably not a good investment. There are plenty of aftermarket suppliers of everything suspension-related for a 900 - I'd read back through the archives and see what people say. Jamex, Kilen, SAS, Intrax, and others all make lowering springs. Koni, Boge/Sachs, Bilstein, and Tokico all make good quality shocks. Search on the c900 and Performance boards for these brands and you'll come up with plenty to read. While you're down there, it's worthwhile to replace swaybar bushings (front and rear) and shock bushings (top and bottom, all four corners). If you plan on lowering the car, you will likely need to get a front-end alignment, and you may end up needing a camber adjust. The camber is adjusted with shims, and depending on how low you go you *may* need additional shims. Some alignment places can get them, others require you source them from the dealer. I'd call your preferred alignment shop and ask how they adjust camber on a 900 and see what they say.
