Are your battery posts clean????
If yes, then:
The question is, "is something draining the battery, or is the system not charging the battery?"
If the car will start consistantly unless left without running for a few hours or days, then yes, something is draining the batt, or you have a bad battery. If the battery runs down even with constant use, then either a bad battery or a charging system problem.
The charging system can be checked by measuring voltage at the battery with the car running. Should be over 12 volts to charge the battery, usually 13+ volts.
If the battery only goers dead over a period of time , ie left overnight or for a couple of days without use, a home test is to disconnect one battery lead right after shutdown. If after a day, the car will start after reconnecting the batt, this would indicate a good battery, but a power drain in the system.
Another option is to go to a sevice station and have them load test the battery. This will tell if the problem is the battery.
