Auto is all new to me . . .It's not shifting properly. It moves but requires higher RPMs. The previous owner said one day it wouldn't shift out of first. He babied it home and it sat. No one ever looked at it. It's been taken car of! Clean, (perfect dash/paint) it sat for about 4 years and it started right up with a new battery and runs perfect and smooth (121k). I was blown away! The guy had the shift mechanism appart and was missing the key (I took it out completly to replace it) I use vise grips to shift when I move it around.
as I said it moves, but with alot of effort (and RPMs- I try to keep it to a minimum) I read there is some adjustments that could be made by opening up the case from under? Auto is a new breed to me!
Yeah, yeah, I know, the problem is it's an auto. Auto/turbos are fast!! No lag, no drop in RPMs, they just get up and go!! I bought an (auto) 91 900T vert for my girlfiend and I'm impressed with it's performance!
Thanks, RL
