Couple of questions regarding Harmonic Balancer job

I'm probably going to have to tackle my harmonic balancer soon (next week or so). Before I do, I had a couple of questions regarding the job:

1) When replacing the oil seal at the crank shaft, do I NEED the special tool and sleeve that are pictured in the Bentley manual?

2) My '88 900s is an automatic, and I'll need to immobilize the crankshaft to remove the pulley. I know some people use breaker bars, but has anybody used the special SAAB tool to freeze the flywheel? Just wondering which is better

3) There was a link posted a while back to a website by a master SAAB mechanic. It covered all sorts of work. Anybody have the link. I can't seem to find it anymore.

4) Finally, if I want to replace the alternator bushings, do I do it now, or can I do it later without too much trouble? I saw that some people do it at the same time to stop the alternator wobble.

Anyway, thanks for the help. Any other words of wisdom before I tackle it?
