Can gauges be reset???

I'm talking about all of the main gauges--speedo, tach, temp, turbo, etc. We installed the indiglo gauges the other day but instead of going thru the hassle of trying to slide the new indiglo face over the original, we took off the needles in order to make things much easier. We seemingly set the needles back to their default positions but we were off. My speedo is off by about 10-15 mph, tach is underestimating, etc.
Can anyone suggest a way to get these gauges back to normal? I'm afraid that the whole assembly is going to have to be ripped back out and several test drives will be in order. Any way to ensure accuracy?? Once they're back on I'd like to be sure they're where they're supposed to be.
The indiglo gauges, by the way, look incredible. Good stuff. I'm considering buying the adapter to add more shades of the green and blue. Has anyone done this?
Thanks,
Charlie
