I understand the TRW made the original ball joints for Saab, but i've also heard that the new TRW joints are "capped" instead of solid cast (i don't really know what this means, but i think it means that the capped are sort of compressed together, while the solid cast are actually made as one unit of cast iron(?))
I just bought some from the above mentioned supplier and went with the OEM's when i was told the TRW's he had were capped. The price difference is neglible because the OEMs come with bolts/nuts while the TRWs require you to buy the bolts/nuts separately (as you don't want to reuse them). Difference is about $3/joint, so i went with the OEMs for peace of mind. At least it's better than the $47 my mechanic would have likely charged me per ball joint (NOT including labor) if i was having him do the job!
Good luck, if i'm up to it maybe i'll try to take pics of this job when i tackle it tomorrow and then post them on the web.
