The 550s are substantially larger than the Bosch Pilots that came on 900s and 9000s. I've got 530s on my 9000T, and even they hang down 1cm or so lower than the original Pilots, despite me bringing them up as close to the bumper as possible. I don't recall off the top of my head for sure, but I'm nearly certain the 550s are even bigger. In fact, they're huge! I think they'll be fine on the SPG in terms of ground clearance, but unless you need that much light I'd consider the 530s - they come in Driving and Fog patterns. I've actually got both lenses, and swap them out seasonally on my 9000T. Works great!
