Question about 86 900 turbo

I have a 86 900 turbo with 150K miles about 3 years ago the turbo was replaced and it must have clogged the Cat because it heated up and started a fire inside ( as you may or may not know the wiring harness is right above the cat in the center of the car) it caught the harness on fire and the carpet. It sat outside with the back window broken out so the seats are pretty bad but, I got a window put in and i took the carpet out ( a friend of mine cut the part of burnt wire out and got a new piece) Now I am fitting all the wires back together "yellow with red stripe, black with white stripe and so on and so on" I have a wiring schematic but it has (ALL) the bells and whistles so the schematic is not perfect in that it has alot of wires that are not in the schematic, So I have all the colored wires connected, But I need to connect some of the same colored wires ( i have 3 green and 2 blue ect. ect.) I am getting kinda sorry to have taken on this project but the car is AWSOME it has no dents and a strong engine brand new turbo (about 150 miles on it) great paint and no rust, the interior has something to be desired. It needs a total make over. So I am wondering if i sould keep on keeping on or should I get some money out of it and Part it out? Any hint would be greatly appreciated.
